This September, KIND SIGMA makes its first appearance at SILMO Paris — one of the world’s leading gatherings for eyewear, optical design and the people shaping what comes next.

For four days, we’re looking for someone to join us on the ground in Paris.

Not simply as a translator, but as part of our presence at SILMO.

THE ROLE

Bilingual Optical Booth Partner — French / English

We’re looking for a French–English bilingual optics student or recent graduate to join the KIND SIGMA team throughout the four days of SILMO Paris 2026.

You’ll be alongside us at our booth — welcoming visitors, introducing KIND SIGMA and our eyewear, assisting conversations with French-speaking guests, and helping us create a warm and considered experience for everyone who steps into our space.

We’re not looking for a conventional translator.

We’re looking for someone who feels comfortable around people, understands the language of eyewear, and can represent KIND SIGMA with warmth, curiosity and confidence.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You might be the right fit if you are:

• Currently studying optics, optometry or a closely related field, or have recently graduated.
• Fluent in French and English and comfortable holding conversations in both.
• Confident speaking with new people in an international environment.
• Naturally warm, attentive and professional.
• Interested in independent eyewear, design, fashion and creative culture.
• Available for all four days of SILMO Paris.
• Based in Paris or able to commute independently to Paris Nord Villepinte.

Previous trade-show experience is welcome, but not essential. Personality, communication and genuine interest matter more to us.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

During the four days, you’ll work directly alongside the KIND SIGMA team to:

• Welcome buyers, opticians, industry professionals and visitors to our booth.
• Introduce visitors to KIND SIGMA and our collections.
• Support conversations between our team and French-speaking visitors when needed.
• Help visitors explore and understand the eyewear on display.
• Maintain a welcoming, organised and polished booth environment.
• Be a genuine part of the KIND SIGMA presence throughout SILMO.

We’ll brief you on the brand, collection and key product information beforehand — you won’t be expected to arrive knowing everything.

This is a paid temporary position for the duration of the fair.

Applicants should be able to arrange their own transportation to and from Paris Nord Villepinte each day.

FOUR DAYS WITH KIND SIGMA

This is more than four days standing behind a booth.

You’ll experience one of the eyewear industry’s most important international gatherings from inside an exhibiting independent brand — meeting opticians, buyers, designers and people from across the global optical community.

You’ll work closely with us, learn the story behind KIND SIGMA and its eyewear, and become part of our first chapter at SILMO Paris.
